The full form of SDS (chemicalname) in chemistry is Sodium dodecyl sulfate. It is also known as Sodium Lauryl sulfate (SLS).

The chemical formula of SDS is C12H25NaSO4 and the structure is shown below. It consists of both hydrophilic and hydrophobic regions. It is an anionic surfactant.
